Because the game is not about who can level the highest, its about skill.

It is a level cap, to encourage players to rely on how they build their char, what skills in what combination to use. It is to encourage skill with a character, not who can spend the most time leveling their char.

It's to prevent 12 year olds with no job, little homework, and parents that don't restrict their Internet usage from dominating PvP.

reiterate his point...specifically because people that send 500 hours playing this game aren't automatically better than someone who's only been playing for 15 minutes....if you have a brain and are willing to use it you can be as good as a lvl 20 while you're still multiple levels below him/her. |

In PvE, the definition of skill is - Lure one enemy over so the 8 of us can slaughter it at once.
In PvP - Hope saying "Alt + F4 to see enemy stats" works... It's funny how people will say this game is more about skill than endless hours... but I can't count the number of times I've spent waiting about 15 minutes to form a party to compete in a 3 minute match. Everyone always tells me you'll spend half of your guild war hours just sitting around. And here I thought nothing could top "Watching Paint Dry"... |
